What is an Oregon Certified Paralegal?

The Oregon Certified Paralegal certification is a program administered by the Oregon Paralegal Association ("OPA"), which is the professional paralegal organization affiliated with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations ("NFPA"). An individual with an OCP certification may or may not hold the title "paralegal," but meets the standard of competency and accountability set by the OPA, including CLE requirements and a committment to ethical standards.
